After looking at some YouTube clips of music videos and then typing in ‘promo video’ I found out there is a slight difference. Although a ‘promo’ video is still used to promote the single/artist/album it would usually be used thorough advertisement through the television unlike a music video would be on specific music channels on TV or on the internet.
